Oman's Head Coach Pim Verbeek (Netherlands) was South Korea's coach when they eliminated Team Melli at the Quarter Finals of 2007 AFC Asian Cup winning the penalty shootout. I won't be surprised if Oman and Team Melli tie 0-0 or 1-1 and god forbid Team Melli has bad record in penalties.

Team Melli should go on strong and score at least 2 goals in the first half to secure a win.

traditionally one of the most underrated arab teams..!
they always play us tough and we often have a hard time beating them..!!

i havent seen any of their group games this time around, wonder how good of a side are they now..?

i expect a somewhat challenging game regardless, but im pretty confident we will manage to get by them and into quarters..!

And may be rightfully so … Qatar has been on fire so far. I like they way they play. Fearless!

Having Taremi in the game will spread their defenders thin and make it easier for Azmoun to head them in.

    Iran is ranked 29

    Oman is ranked 82.

You make the call for the winner, no cheating.
