Those ratings seem awful purely Stat heavy ..!
He was all right at WC but besides his PK Dave & one other good save vs Morocco, seemed slightly above avg. to me overall ..! He had really shaky start vs Portugal & looked awful amateurish & off course had like 8 man D @ nearly all time protecting him...!
Now @ AC, barring the Japan clash, he commanded his box & truly looked like a type of keeper that decent EU teams would take punt on ..!
I saw Kepa today whose positioning was poor for a couple of goals in Chelsea's 6-0 loss.
You think, this is a player who cost £71.6 million. Beiranvand could be available at 1/70th of this price, what the hell is going on that he is staying in the local league instead of getting some useful development in an overseas club.
Again today, this player who is 60-70 times the cost of Beiranvand at pretty much the same age, refused to come off when the manager wanted to substitute him (for a keeper who is a penalty specialist and trained with the opposing team) prior to penalties. You look at someone like Alireza who is humble and down-to-earth....
THere must be someone who knows Milad to ask him whether he can get Alireza in contact with the agency who have just signed him. It is a travesty

I might be completely wrong here but I have a feeling he doesn't really want to leave Iran.

Beiranvand was very calm throughout the match against Japan. Never saw him get nervous or worked up. His facial expression never changed - always serious looking, never emotional. He is my kind of bae
What's the point if it's to sign, move, and sit on the bench.
Once u have a family it's not easy to move around.
yes, it is also about the children's education (tho i think his kids are very small) and also the wife's need for help when looking after the kids (I mean if they stayed in Iran, the extended family will be there to help look after the kids). uprooting an entire family may not be that easy, especially for us Asians.

Yes, the sacred family.
He doesn't lack the motivation, that's for sure.
Keep calm and believe in Fairies and Footballers Roxanaz
Marc Wilmots praising Alireza Beiranvand, Iranian goalkeeper on his way to Antwerp: "He will surprise you"
Antwerp is on its way to capture Alireza Beiranvand (27) for three years with option. But what should we know about the Iranian goalkeeper? "That he is one of the best keepers with whom I have already worked," said former Iranian national coach and tipster Marc Wilmots. "And that means something ..." After the Croatian talent Davor Matijas (20) - an option for the future - another goalkeeper is coming to Antwerp. The Iranian Alireza Beiranvand has yet to take his medical tests.
