    Day 2, another ref saudied.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

Amer Shafie once giving Iran headaches (nikbakht goal), now doing same with australia...

with 37 years we have to salute that shafie is one of the best five best goalkeepers in the history of Asia. He is an beast...

I wouldn't be surprised if they finish 3rd. Syria is a tough opponent.

            1 Jordan 7pts
            2 Syria 5 pts
            3 Australia 4 pts
            4 Palestine 0pts

This Australia team is much weaker than a few years back.

Aussies looked clue less how to break through the tough Jordanian defense.

This result tells you history means nothing in football.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Syria or Jordan win the Cup this time.

Even history would tell you that Jordan is a very strong and serious opponent.
Before that game they lost twice to Aussies and won twice against them.

With todays victory, they have a better record against Aussies than we have.

The East Asians and to an extent Australia have shown in the past that they don’t always do that well playing in the West, expect at least one Arab team in the semis.

Too early to count Aussies as the third team in the group but as someone else said here, if that happens then it gets complicated for us as there is a chance iran meet Aussies in round of 16. But again ..too early to say.

That is not true. Our record is better.

Australia and Jordan plus most likely Syria will all three progress from this group.
