Also I did not know Iran v iraq is a 10k stadium. That explains it more. I'd be willing to buy from anyone if they are willing to sell as well.

Did you buy assuming Iran finishes first in the group? I'm planning on doing this soon myself and I'm evening considering buying tickets for the scenario that Iran finishes 2nd in the group, so having both sets of tickets just in case

Yes I wouldn't assume anything otherwise. It's an easy group and we should be able to collect all 9 points

Yes I did. I would not do that if I were you. Tbh I think that Iran v Iraq was obviously going to go sold out because there were so few seats to begin with but I think buying tickets in later rounds is probably not worth it. The later games are in stadiums with 40k seats. I don't know if 20k+ Iranians are going to fill the stadium, let alone 40k. I bought the tickets because I did not want to take the risk, but hope its worth it.

I think if we are first in our group, we will comfortable get to semis, at which point we are versing either Australia or Japan. It would be very tough to say we get to the finals, which is why I have not bought tickets yet.

Yes I wouldn't assume anything otherwise. It's an easy group and we should be able to collect all 9 points

you never know - 2 wins and a tie for example and we could finish 2nd. I would bet Iran finishes 1st but second is a possibility.
