Everyone talks about Japan and S Korea as the main prospects..I want to say in my opinion Qatar is the most in shape team with 14 friendlies till the last day . And look at their impressive results.

^ Too bad Omid Singh didn’t accept India’s offer to play for them, he could’ve helped them. He declined India for Iran because he has more love for Iran (Behbahan) and wanted/wants to eventually be capped for Team Melli.

Believe it or not Omid is pretty decent given the club he plays for (no offense to Nassaji). He also started playing football after the developmental stage. A very technical player who makes smart decisions which result in opportunities in front of goal. Of course Ferdosipour has to bring up Jabbar Singh when he brought him on Navad

                    huh..!!
their clash with Saudi should be an entertaining affair and indicative of how far they may go in the tourney..!!? hopefully they rape the 8-0ers..!! also i only noticed One South American sounding mercenary player in their AC squad...Pedro something....! the rest sounded local..!
guess finally they wised up and got away from buying players to rep their country..!!?

If I'm not mistaken, India doesn't recognize dual nationality, so he'd have to give up his Iranian citizenship and get Indian citizenship in order to play for the Indian National Team. I think Aria Hasegawa faced the same problem with Japan when he was called up to Team Melli.

That Nakajima guy could be a big probolem for us in the SF. I watched his game in a friendly with Uruguay and the Uruguayans couldn't stop him without fouling him. Plus judging by his Youtube highlights, he has a powerful shot from distances which threatens teams that park the bus like us. We faced him in the Olympic qualification and he scored 2 goals from outside of the box.
