expect them to start a team with yoshida, nagatomo, sakai and one younger guy in defense

in midfield shibasaki (getafe) and Endo o(St. Truiden), and ahead of them a very exciting front line of the highly rated youngster Doan (gronigen), Minamino (lRB Salzburg), Nakajami (portuguese team), and up front Muto from newcastle or Osako from Werder Bremen.

They have experienced defenders and exciting young forward line, good move to cut the underperforming veterans, not sure about inui tho. I believe they are the biggest threat to us.

The key for our squad is having ezatolahi fit. The rest are replaceable imo. Even if he misses the first matches he will be crucial from iraq match forward. He allows ghoddos and wingers way more offensive license and forms a real formidable wall along with ebrahimi, PAG, Majid in the center of the pitch that I doubt any asian team can break down. In terms of wingers with ARJ surely ready by then, Gholizadeh with a decent chance of being available after first match, and even besides them options like torabi who is in great form for club and TM, Alipour, Amiri, and ofc Taremi we should be okay.

Philippines' goalkeeper Neil Etheridge will only play in their opening match against South Korea and will then go back to Cardiff. it's their first major competition ever and they'll be missing one of their standout players for most of it.
