Our young women are doing wonders. They already made it to the next round! The big test is Sunday against Thailand whose national women's team is ranked sixth in Asia and is only trailing Iran by 2 goals on GD (24 to 22). I hope there will be a live thread on Youtube. Here are the times:

2019 AFC U-16 Women's Championship

Many thanks to St_Mark for keeping us updated with all our youth as well as women’s football news. A much valued and precious member on board. Also many thanks to futbaldoost for the contribution as well.

Kudos to our young ladies for such brave and fantastic display. Despite all the restrictions they bear in Iran, they still manage to play and gain such amazing results. Hats off to these lionesses!

The Format for Advance to Championship Round 2019

In each group, teams play each other.

• In the first round, the six group winners and the two best runners-up advance to the second round.
• However, the final tournament hosts Thailand do not advance to the second round. If they win their group, the runner-up of their group advances to the second round, or if they are among the two best runners-up, the third best runner-up advances to the second round.
• In the second round, the two group winners and the two group runners-up qualify for the final tournament to join the four automatically qualified teams.

If they lose they will advance as well because of Regulation ( If they win their group, the runner-up of their group advances to the second round, )
