Good/Unexpected surprises : Amiri, Naderi
Good moves but pretty logicial : Hosseini, Rezaei, Gholizadeh, Nurafkan, Moharrami
Not bad, could have been better : Ghoddos, JB , PAG , Ansarifard (if he remains in Olympiakos), Ebrahimi
Deceiving : Azmoun, Taremi, Hajisafi, Cheshmi, Mohammadi
Very Bad : Ezatolahi, Beiranvand, Rezaeian (if he comes back in Middle east or stay free agent).
Quite mixed feeling. Not that bad considering the previous transfer window, and that we had quite a few new clubs and leagues interested and rewarding good season from iranians. But rather desappointed that it was so few, considering it was a world cup year with some of our players that were impressive.
We are still dependant on the Berdiev syndroma : a club like Trabzonspor, Panionios, Charleroi (unfortunately a small number and during a limited period) suddenly waking up with a love for iranians players. The others clubs/leagues remains lethargic/blind.
Of course, the mentality/lack of ambition/stubborness of some iranians players doesn't stop to deceive me

Average - there’s been 1-2 surprise moves, some good moves that you expected and just as many disappointing moves/no moves at all for guys who deserved way more. It’s been interesting but for me a tad more disappointing than exciting. So my vote goes to averageTeam Meli Iran
Perspolis FC
Malavan Bandar Anzali

I voted for very bad because we held our own against elite teams like Spain and Portugal, nearly eliminated one of them and our PGPL players still havent moved to a single top 3 league club. In the past, players like Teymourian would go straight from Aboomoslem to Bolton. The best transfer we had was Jahanbakhsh to a non EL/CL bottom Premier League team.

I think comparing it to the last few years, it’s been great.
But in relation to how well our boys played in the WC, at the highest level, I am disappointed guys like Ramin, Alireza Beiranvand, and ezatollahi have not been picked up by better teams
Best transfers were Majid Hosseini and Kaveh rezaei
Jahanbaksh was expected to go to a good team, and so was saman, and they both got bottom table clubs.
Brugge and to some extent Trabzonspor are title competitors tho, so those moves are nice

Disappointing because this isn't an average year. It follows a record performance at a WC and a #1 in Asia status as well as high expectations going into AC.
I remember predicting this and some member getting upset with me saying we will have players in top leagues on top teams. No La Liga or Bundesliga and only relegation fighting teams in France and England...of course plenty of Turkey, Belgium, and Russia ( no disrespect to any of those leagues intended) and even more Tractor Sazi makes me want to cry! Don't forget a blockbuster move to Cyprus!

How do you rate this transfer window for iranians?
Can people please stop bringing up the world cup as some kind of great achievement and that all our players should be bought by top european clubs because of it?
The wc was a team effort and a great defensive display. Our attacking game was almost non-existing. One chance here and there doesnt change it. The team worked great as an defensive unit.
No one stood up as an amazing player, not even Beiranvand as some of you seem to believe. He had like what, three saves? A penalty save doesnt get you to Real Madrid.
This transfer period was great, we have more players than ever in european clubs! The best transfers however was by players that didnt participate in the world cup...

Don't disagree with this. I feel like it was a lost opportunity because if we had some more attacking prowess I think the transfer window would have looked different. Even so PAG to Eupen is by far a pathetic transfer for a team that defensively was very very good.Originally posted by Love TM View Post

Come on, every single people and media were saying Iran will get trashed by the three other teams in our group, that we don't even exist etc.. We did far better than expected. I am sorry no one expect our players to flood to Real Madrid (even if you can see some non iranian random guys ending there without deserving it).Originally posted by Love TM View PostCan people please stop bringing up the world cup as some kind of great achievement and that all our players should be bought by top european clubs because of it?

We could at least expect more clubs like Amiens or Huesca trying to snatch Beiro, Ezzatolahi.
Honesty, euro scouts don't watch IPL, don't watch QSL, don't watch ACL, don't watch asian cup, don't watch WCQ, don't watch Iran friendlies, don't watch iran U17 & iran U20 WC, don't watch Greek and Russian league aswell it seems. So when we should expect them to discover iranian talents if it is not the world cup? Everybody is happy to see Kaveh landing to Brugge but if these scouts were competent, this transfer should have occured some years ago.

As far as I remember Beiro decided to stay at Persepolis himself? Ezzatollahi on the other hand is different, because he has a history in europe. Why he doesnt transfer to a better team is a good question, I think that there is something to do with bad contract choices. Iranian players will get good offers after they prove themselves in Europe, but they probably have to start in a weak team just as JB and Kaveh did. JB could choose Leicester if he wanted to and Kaveh got transfered to Club Brugge. No one stands out in the national team and thats because of CQ tactics.Originally posted by PSGman#19 View PostCome on, every single people and media were saying Iran will get trashed by the three other teams in our group, that we don't even exist etc..
