Furthermore, Rahman Ahmadi only played a few games, where he did well but wasn't a star, and i for one was never impressed by Haghighi as he certainly had his fair share of blunders. Montazeri and Pouladi were good defenders\solid right and left back, with that i mean they have a good basis which a coach can work with.
To give you a good analogy so you can understand my point: I remember a certain Lionel messi who had a bad World Cup performance (by his standards) for Argentina, following your logic, your argument would be that he is not as good as people think because in Barcelona he plays in a good system which make it seem as if he is one of the best players in the world (as if the system somehow magically gives him abilities), but i point out that your argument is incorrect and has flaws, and make my counter argument which is that the reason he flourishes and is able to show his quality (as rightfuly one of the best players in the world), is precisely because of the system that he plays in Barcelona, whereas at Argentina he plays in a bad system, or a system where he is not able to function properly and display his abilities. And you can apply the same to Pouraliganji, if he plays in a team with a bad system where it is difficult to function, he will not be able to showcast or display his qualities as a quality defender.
