JB did great. Knockaerts pass was shit.
Overall JB was defensively solid. His teammates need to trust him more and he needs a few lucky touches.
I think Hughton is starting to trust him alot though.

JB's role in this team is basically run up and down the flank, close down the wingers and ensure defensive stability.
In fact his role on this team is basically very similar as to how CQ uses him (example, World Cup games).
This is why he "struggles". The system doesn't fit him, but he has speed, stamina and works well on defense.
This is exactly it.
JB's primary duty on this team was to defend and support Bruno against Traore.
His team will never give him the space he needs to play his style.
He did exactly what Hughton wanted.
Yes, he made mistakes, but not where it would hurt the team.
Those expecting him to be an offensive juggernaut need to remind themselves how it is to play on a team that is mostly on the back foot.
He ran so much today. Bless him.

he was very good with defensive help especially in first half protecting bruno from the ultra pacy adama traore.
Offensively he had some good passes but was given very little space, struggled to get into the game, He is still lacking confidence and rhythm in the offensive third, and more often than not plays it safe.
But, 3 wins in a row is huge for brighton. I think they will continue to play him bc they keep winning, and hope it starts to click for him offensively. Overall he did fine, and Knocky coming off bench did nothing to warrant a start, if anything hurt his chances. I think hughton will keep the same team going forward, but that dale stephens is an absolute disaster. Doesnt have the quality turn, play a forward ball, or really anything. Just a big waste of space.

JB did ok in the game, not as bad as you guy make it sound to be. I was in fact amazed how he was positioned in attack every time Brighton got anywhere near the wolves box, and then he was deep defending. In that area he did very well. Every player makes mistake in the game and he had a few but he also had good touches.
