"Mohammad Naderi does not speak a word of English yet, but his coach and teammates are inventive
Mohammad Naderi landed in Kortrijk this summer. The 21-year-old Iranian is reportedly bursting with talent, but has one shortcoming. He does not speak a letter of English.
"Naderi is only just here and does not speak English, which is a problem for the time being," says Glen De Boeck. "But we all have an app installed and if we speak English, it will be translated." Of course it is about Google Translate, which the undersigned in Russia used all too often this summer.
Captain Hannes Van Der Bruggen confirms. "It's a boy with a lot of growth margin, once he learns English it will all go much smoother, he also comes from a totally different culture, but Google Translate helps." Furthermore, Naderi were also taught the football terms. "Left, right, press, push, and those things." Next week he will start with his English lessons and then it will go smoothly. ""
Mohammad Naderi streek deze zomer in Kortrijk neer. De 21-jarige Iraniër bulkt naar verluidt van het talent, maar heeft één manco. Hij spreekt geen letter Engels.
Adel during 90 was saying he joined the Belgian side for 50-100K.
The kid deserves lots of respect. He is only 21 though. Need some time to learn the language and get used to new environment. Hard work eventually pays off.
I talked to a friend of mine who has done some business with KV Kortrijk in the past to know more about his situation. He didn't have a clue at all, we just agreed on the fact that any player will only grow under De Boeck as their headcoach.
