Terrible thinking by Sardar - and if he actually thought about this - he would not have made this decision. But thinking has not been one of his strong points. He seems to want to be cuddled by parent-types (i.e. Berdyev etc.), that's not how the world works.

Since I have not actually expressed my opinion of Azmoun but only criticised his decision fiercely, I feel the need to express my support too. I think he is a great player. He fitted really well in CQ's plans and did work very hard. He was constantly running the entire length of the pitch. In an offensive style of play where he would preserve his energy more, he would shine even more. He is an asset for TM and those in charge of TM must do whatever it takes to help this kid. He is simply brilliant and can become a great star with the help of a good mentor.

Iranian resiliency is legendary and our strength is world-renowned. But we do have a mother-cuddling culture that is quite frankly, disgusting.

People sent him a collage/compilation of videos where heart-felt messages were being sent. People came out in droves supporting him and many heralded his performance vs. Portugal.

He came out saying thank you and we are all good after this came in.

It's not OK to insult anyone's mother. But this is football, players will swear at your kids on the field and social media is a cesspool (not just in Iran) of idiotic and bikhaar people who are angry and spiteful. Either accept this or get off social media.

I think you are getting confused bro. Playing hard and being strong has nothing to do with what I am talking about. Azmoun plays hard and has a lot of strength to run up and down the field. What I say is that we are generally speaking and culturally soft hearted and forgive and forget quickly and all that. But it goes without saying that there are always exception to any rule. Besides being emotional and soft isn't an insult. if you feel insulted sorry.
