If you look at the Iran Portugal game again (min 52,56 and Min 76), the ref blatantly denied Iran 3 Legit penalties and then as a consolation and when the 'Control room' told him Spain survived Morocco (2-2) He then gave Iran a penalty. which was too little too late, IMO , if we had an honest Ref, probably non Spanish Speaking, we could have beaten Portugal 3-0 topped the group and made history but once again, wether we play in AFC or under FIFA, we get screwed and CQ knows this!!

There is absolutely no question that Japan and Korea are at least 15 years ahead of Iran in football.
Honestly we achieved what we did in Russia solely due to our gheyrat and coaching staff amazing mental
Preparation of our TM otherwise we should have done a lot worse.

I love Iran and my TM but overall speaking, on the scales of 1-10 I give Japan 8 and Iran 7

And on the subject of AFC and FIFA , of course they screwed us and will continue to do so

Our football might be behind Japs and Koreans but Im just demoralized that every time we actually do well, and its been this trend since 2014 WC, some #$%#ed up ref, somewhere ( AC in Australia) or (WC in Brazil) ignores our legit calls and we fall short of masking history!
Now close your eyes and imagine if this Happened :
Iran -Beats Argentina 1-0 ( Penalty Awarded, scored by Ashkan) and we had the greatest upset with the eventual finalists !
Iran Beats Iraq( no red card for Pouladi) and we go on to Win the 2015 Asian Cup for a record 4th time!
IRan Beats Portugal 3-0 to top the group! and we qualify to round of 16 and play Russia!
