I’m not disagreeing with his answer, he handled it well. Just usually don’t get that from him

I hope our players win the game but if they draw I hope they don't celebrate though it is not a mean achievement.

yes but his face expression also says PP>SS. and yet there are more SS players in the roster. So, I wouldn’t read much into it.
I mean he cannot say euro champs and former world champs deserve to get eliminated at group stage!

I actually liked Masoud's response to the women in the stadium. First off it's clear he doesn't want any distraction atm. But I especially liked the bit about us being a family and dealing with our problems internally.

It would be cringeworthy as a draw is not always a good result and shows we consider ourselves inferior. Our boys all of them are as good as any of those players playing in this tournament and the only difference between our team and some of the so called 'top teams' is the facilities and infrastructure. Otherwise we are as good as Spain, Portugal, Germany or Argentina. I think the reason CQ has stayed in Iran for so long is that he can see that we are an uncut diamond. He has successfully shown that we are capable of being amongst the top 20 footballing nations.
