fantastic job by japan, in my opinion probably still the best asian team. They dominated everything against a colombia side that looked like they had 20kg weights attached to their boots.

Jesus Christ, they were playing against a 10 man team for the whole game. They were gassed and James is injured, but still played.

Japan is a perfect example of what a great youth soccer system can do for your country. 25 years ago Japan was an afterthought in soccer. Their players are physically inferior, however they have truly learned how to play fundamental, structured football.

So far Japan have played brilliant at this world cup and we have to give them credit for that, even though they played against 10m opponent in the first game and a rather shaky Senegal in the second game. Overall Japan deserve to progress from this group with no powerhouse.

Watched the whole game. Japan played well considering the Senegalese players were physically bigger. Senegal was gassed out by the 70th minute. They had some bad mistakes and giveaways. Japan could’ve scored two more but luck was with Senegal.

Japan can cope with WC level opponents with attacking football. Saudi Arabia tried the same against Russia but failed miserably.

Japan is an extremely disciplined country. They play like robots, in a way they're the Germany of Asia. Having said that I think this is the easiest group of this World Cup. I doubt any of these teams can make it much far into the tournament. Colombia has so far shown to be the best team in this group. They just got unlucky in their first match against Japan to have one of their players ejected in 3'

Poland shows the world how to never ever play football at this level. No discipline, no plan, no structure, no format, and just pure physical crap. Remids me of the local football played by 22 fat bastards with no skills. If they continue this way they will concede at least another 2 goals.
