It still doesn't make sense to me why Russia can have a 38 old defender (Who was playing solid), but we can't have the heart of our defense a 36 Hosseini for our Morocco match...

No because we couldnt put 3-4 passes to each other. Turkey was
2-0 ahead so its normal that they give us the ball. We hadnt more
possession because we were technical superior.
Go an watch the game again you will see what i am mean when
i am criticizing our passing game.
All our attacks came out of an accident or corners.

We had plenty of attacks and chances that we just didn’t convert that came from our passing

None of them were accidents.

It was a good score and not embarrassing for Asia. It was consistent with AFC actions and being controlled by Petrodollars. When Saudis refused to play Perspolis or Esteghlal in Tehran they proved they were afraid of the crowd. AFC tried to help them but tonight even with nice and gentle Russian fans they could not handle the game. I told you guys not to believe in Germany or Italy scores. They paid those teams to have friendly match anyway so the teams allowed them to do any maneuvers. And 9 players in Europe did not help.
There is someone here who keeps on supporting morocco by negative comments. irani hast? yaa mozaahem> reminds me of the movie Beh vaghte shaam: Tu Irani hasti?

Asia+australia should not have 5 reps in the world cup. in the last one Korea and Japan had bad results. I think 3 is enough. it is shame that Italy and many good teams are not there then there is a team that gets 5 goals in its goal. FIFA should modify the 5 and give 2 more chances to european teams or south american or take the 4th and 5th qualifies from Asia and have matches between them and the best european teams that did not qualify. By this we would have seen Italy instead of Saudis and Greece instead of Korea

By the way here are my thoughts for the game that went down tonight if anyone wants to read them.

Russia showed that even though they don't hold the ball possession in a game they can and they will be able to create counter attacks, and move quickly with just a few passes towards their opponents goal and they are not afraid of trying to dribble past their player. With that said, as a fellow members wrote earlier the reason Saudi lost is because they try to play a game these players aren't able to do. They don't have the talent to play the kind of football their coach wants them to play. For what I saw was a team that was trying to pass the ball around like Barcelona but they couldn't do it on an individual level nor on a team level. To many mistakes which lead to the scoreline becoming 5-0

With that said, Osama should have some praise given to him, if he had not defended as he did at more than one occasion the scoreline would have been 8-0 or worse for Saudi Arabia. He was the only one I would think of giving an Okay grade to, even though they ended up conceding 5 goals. When it comes to Russia, they started off a bit insecure, but they had a plan and they executed that plan. They didn't go out there to pass around the ball, the mission was not to hold position. The mission was to win, and boy did they win. Golovin as well as the Russian defenders did their job, and they did it good. Smolov was impressive as well and hell I seriously dont understand how he is still playing in Russia when he could definitely play for a top team in one of the main 5 leagues in Europe.
