100% agree with this. His utility was in defense against Spain and Portugal where we needed all hands on deck, but the man is horrendous in front of goal. Our biggest challenge this AC will be offensive efficiency and he is the antichrist in that respect.

He puts in that denfesive work CQ likes to see while the rest do not. Back tacking, applying pressure, closing down space, all that good stuff.

I still cannot believe useless Taremi and even Ansarifard got so much playing time instead of Ghoddos, Gholizadeh, Torabi, Kaveh Rezaei, etc. in the World Cup.

If you think Ansarifard and Taremi are useless players then you don't know the first thing about football. They're good players, not world class but definitely top players by Asian standards lad
