Biggest mistake CQ ever made: crossing out Vorya Ghafouri and Jalal Hosseini from the World Cup squad!!!!
Cheshmi is not World Cup ready! If Turkey can easily score and twice, then what will the Iberian Giants and Morocco do maybe score at least 3 or 4! Cheshmi is very much a non-existent defender, the centre of defence is too exposed!!! God Help Team Melli.
Worse defence since the Tunisia game!

Many of you seem to be very disappointed with Iran's performance today, I actually think Iran played well and the team achieved something very special today.
And that is .. for the first time in our football history we played a top class team and had more of the possession. 52% against 48%. This is a game changer! What CQ has done to this team is unprecedented.
We no longer are parking the bus in front of our goal and defending in layers. Those of you who are asking for Jalal are still thinking with the old mentality ...
This team has a bright future .. we are no longer a push over, even on a day when the formation is experimental and players are still learning to how to put it all together ... (watch the game one more time and you know what I mean)

I would encourage you to watch this video and listen to our players talk about what Ivic did for TM:Originally posted by The View PostAll those achievements you speak of happened way before he landed in Iran. By the Time he got to Iran, his career was on the way down coaching teams like UAE and barely winning with the best team in Turkey, and after his stint with Iran, he achieved nothing. Iran's exceptional performance at the WC was the product of the best generation of players we had up until recently, the same guys who got us to the world cup under a person like M.Kohan and Veira.

Z Joon I hope you have relaxed now and watched the game once more. It wasn't the greatest match but it could be better. In total for an all attack stimulation in a situation that you are behind and you bring all offence it wasn't too bad. We had 13 shots against 12 and 3 corners against two. And if we were lucky we could win or tie.Originally posted by Z Joon View PostBeiranvand - 7

Worrying, very worrying. This was embarrassing and I'm ashamed.
One thing is for sure, CQ never managed to win a game when we were trailing, and it doesn't intend on changing in this WC. Our team is made to protect a lead, we can't come back in a match for shit.
Yes gotta work on our defence.
In total was a great match and it wasn't embarrassing at all. Need to improve and this team will get better day by day. I thought we lose 2-0 in their stadium but after watching it; I also expected at least a 2-2. Many lessons learned. Thanks for the thread. Take it easy!sigpicSUPPORT TEAM MELLIIRAN- IRAN - ONLY IRAN
IRAN OUT OF AFC NOW!
IRAN WILL ROCK IN ASIA AGAIN IF IRI IS OVERTHROWN... MUBARAK, BIN-ALI, NOW IT IS THE TURN FOR SEID ALI

Never been so unhappy with Queiroz before. But after all it is just a friendly and the only important thing is that he makes the right decisions for World Cup...
Cheshmi should not be near the starting lineup and if he plays, only as DM.
Ansarifard is not a midfielder (surprise, surprise) and Shojaei not a defensive midfielder.
If Queiroz, for whatever reasons, shouldn't have been aware of this, he must be now.

I remember Dejagah's Farsi being horrible when he first came to TM sorta similar to Ghoddos's Farsi now but after some time and speaking Farsi on a regular basis, it will improve.Originally posted by rooyintan View PostBoth of them have improved in speaking Farsi
I should try and improve myself too.
Dejagah and Gucci both have Iranian wives so that does help too.

If he doesnt want to be so unhappy I suggest Cheshmi dropped from squad, and immediate recall of Jalal. Also voria and drop khanzadeh. Then drop torabi/Gholizadeh/shojaei and you have the 23 man squad sorted.Originally posted by Martin-Reza View PostNever been so unhappy with Queiroz before. Obviously he is aware of it and put them on purpose there. Just before the WC he wants to put some players in uncomfortable positions, its part of his preparation. They need to grow outside their comfort zone and sweat there a bit, before they come back to their comfort zone (comfort position) and perform.Originally posted by Martin-Reza View PostNever been so unhappy with Queiroz before. Its sort of psychological, positive shock, wake up with cold water etc... Obviously after 7 years CQ didn't go Bananas.CHECK OUT OUR FORUM RULES HERE: http://www.persianfootball.com/forums/faq.php

this is exactly what I know to be true, but seeing them struggle is so damn hard for me. Especially when I know that this TM has been best on defense, and then we look so vulnerable all of the sudden, and we have turkish members saying our defense is weak. Really bothers me. But I agree, CQ made our team so strong defensively, its not like he would destroy his own work, clearly he knows many things that we do not.Originally posted by Adesor Vafaseya View PostObviously he is aware of it and put them on purpose there.
