That was an U17 game, maybe he didn't develop well. Wouldn't be the first Khuzestani player to be a bust after showing promise. We've had a few. Kolahkaj comes to mind as well.

Yeah. Look we had Montazeri, Hosseini, Sadeghi and Alenemeh in 2014. 4 old centre backs. We gassed out. Khanzadeh was in the squad too but as a RB.

This year we have Pouraliganji, Majid Hosseini, Cheshmi, Montazeri. I believe Khanzadeh is taken as a RB again. Much younger centre back options, who probably can maintain a good level of performance for 270 minutes. I don't think Jalal Hosseini could play at a high level in our last game against Portugal if he had played against Morocco and Spain.

If you're good enough, you should play, regardless of the age and experience. It's unfair to say to a player who's been playing so well that he can't play because he's too young.
