Saudi Ref banned from World Cup

It is very suspicious. Al Midrasi was actually a good referee. Saudi FA claims he confessed to accepting an offer of money by for match fixing while being in custody of police. God knows what police did to him to get the confession. How can he be banned without a fair trial. FIFA has asked Saudi FA for additional information.

I agree with this. Why would this guy be a legit referee until 1 month before the worldcup? The timing seems really fucked up.
