Kiarash jan, i don't see anything special in this guy. I mean look at his last 5 to 10 games highlights. Actually i don't mind to take him as 3rd keeper but to be honest all 3-4 keepers are more or less at the same level. Anyway CQ will start Bieranvand most likely, because the rest almost don't have any experience.

Haghghi had zero experience essentially and he started for us. I am hoping Hosseini can get in and start for us. He is the most ready keeper we have. Mazarehi is good too. Abedzadeh, I know plays in a good league and he has done well but there is no standout features about him.

If he wants to go by performance he should go by Mazaheri, Hosseini didn't play in any competitive match in last month or so.

I agree .. if you want to go last month, but if you want to go by last 6 months, you go with Hosseini.

I agree I believe which ever keeper seems to be on the best form in camp will get the starting spot. I feel bad for Haghighi though I wish he could have become the starting goal keeper for a good European club after the world cup and continued to improve and remain our #1

His club screwed him. Guaranteed him the starting spot and they didn't honor that promise. He wanted to be in WC.

Yeah just a bad club situation and if I remember correctly he suffered a kinda lengthy injury as well. Oh well he made us proud in 2014 and this time around it will just be someone else's turn to shine.

Actually if you wanna go by last 2-3 years, you should go with Mazaheri before everyone else.

Forgot to add that Kamyabinia is missed aswell! Imo after Ezatolahi he is our best defensive midfielder

looks to me that CQ has pretty much decided his final squad.

The extra 13-14 players are there for :
1- maybe a couple of doubtful spots
AND
2- Just in case someone really shines and does some extraordinary stuff to change his mind. But my guess is the usual suspects will get the nod barring any injury

If it was me, i would even think about just taking two goalkeepers to Russia. haha. i think one more player as option would be usefull, but 2 goalkeepers is really risky.

Beitashour was an absentee for 4 years long and suddenly he gets the call..strange.

He was the best defender on the MLS championship team...a team that almost won CONCACAF Champions league (although he was not part of the latter). If you follow MLS closely he deserves a spot. His LAFC is doing very well as an expansion team with him as a regular starter.

I hope M.Hosseini and Nourafkan impress CQ so much that he ends up including them in the final roster. We definitely need a few young and talented defenders in the team to get some valuable experience. Montazeri and Hosseini are way too old, Khanzadeh doesn't seem to have enough quality and Ansari sucks big time.

Having Nourafkan is good but I don't think M.Hosseini makes it to the final 23, he is not good enough. Khanzadeh is just garbage and Ansari is good as a backup LB not CB.

I think Majid Hosseini is good enough. He outshines Cheshmi in Esteghlal's games at the back. His passing and calmness is great to watch.
