am I missing something, almost half the players finished their league, why arent they with team melli?

Azmoun, Mohammadi, and Ezzatollahi all have one league game remaining in Russia, and Rezaei and Rezaeian both have two or three games left in Belgium.

Forgot to mention Shojaei also has one more game in Greece, the cup final.

Alot of the players you've listed are clearly not in CQ's plans anymore or they're injured.

Regarding the legionnaires - none of them are done yet. The Russians and Belgians still have league games. The dutch have playoff games. The Greeks have cup games.
Regarding the few legionnaires who are done - they have been given a week long break by CQ (Jahanbakhsh, Hajsafi...)

Alot of the players you've listed are clearly not in CQ's plans anymore or they're injured.

Regarding the legionnaires - none of them are done yet. The Russians and Belgians still have league games. The dutch have playoff games. The Greeks have cup games.
Regarding the few legionnaires who are done - they have been given a week long break by CQ (Jahanbakhsh, Hajsafi...)

So clearly CQ statement is partially correct, even though AFC might have schedule the Champions League this week and next week, but most local player will not player as starter in team melli. so its better to have legionnaires in team melli camp then anything else.
