I don't want to get ahead of ourselves, but just for fun, if we qualify for Tokyo, who do you think would be the best 3 over 23 players to add? I say Beiranvand, Azmoun, and the position where we are weakest.

Centerback is weakest. Think Majid Hosseini, Payam Niazmand and Ezatolahi would be good choices. Attack is pretty good with Delfi, Allahyar, Mehdikhani, Mohebi etc

those guys are our established senior players. I doubt they would agree to it, and I doubt it would be good for the team overall. Plus, we want Olympics to be a chance for new talents to show themselves, not guys that are well known.

I would pick Niazmand as GK, who is a phenomenal talent and very young still, Iman Salimi as CB, another great young talent who is probably one of if not the best CB still playing in PGPL. As another member said, the attacking threat of this team is really strong, no need to bring in wingers of forwards or CAMS. They lack a LB so I would suggest Naderi from PP, also very young and athletic.

Round of Club action for Omid players :

Gholami and Shariati both completing 90 mins today and keeping clean sheets. They should be the CB pairing for this team moving forward. One has experience of u20 WC, 1W, 2L (although both very narrow ones vs Zambia and Portugal) the other the leader of that fantastic u17 WC run. Good to see Taha regaining his form after bad injury and Gholami finally becoming a regular in PGPL.

Jalali also played 90 mins for Saipa, I guess he is an option for LB post. Derakhshanmehr also played 90 mins today, but he is playing as winger under Mansourian and not LB, although I still think he is the superior option there.

Mohammadreza Azadi started as CF for tractor. He can be a solid backup option to allahyar and different type of forward.

Omid Noorafkan also going from strength to strength for Sepahan. He will be important as leader of TM in midfield. Mohebbi obviously a key player for them as well.

Ghaedi scored and is enjoying a good start to season.

Mehdikhani started again for Varazdin today, they lost 1-0. He also started in 1-0 win last week. He seems to be becoming an important player as a winger in their 11.

Allahyar plays tomorrow vs Bursaspor, a win could take istanbulspor into top 4.

Delfi still injured. Shekari also not getting any playing time in TS. Although these two may not be playing regularly for different reasons, they should still be key players for Omid.
Front three can be made up of Mohebbi ,Allahyar, Delfi ,Mehdkihani, Ghaedi, Azadi, Jabireh. Very deep talent pool in those front three positions.

Meraj Esmaili for now became the first keeper of Zob, after Bagher Sadeghi's failure. Good news for Omid team.

Jalali and Taha playing 90 again. They have no kept clean sheets vs Sepahan and Padideh consecutively.

Gholami also in good form for SS.

All 3 of those guys should be starters and form a more Solid D line for the team. Noorafkan in good form as well ahead of them providing protection.

Derakshanmehr is a starter as a RW these days? He can also be a good option still in the D line.

Offensively Allahyar now scoring, Delfi close to full fitness, Mehdikhani, Ghaedi also in good form.

Overall Omid situation although not ideal looks a lot better than a few months ago.

Mohammad Reza Azadi has now scored in back to back matches as Tractor's starting CF. Tonight scoring a clean finish vs SS. As I mentioned he is a great option to have in the CF line, gives a different option compared to allahyar.
