It’s a weird situation now, clearly nobody is trying to win , but the goal difference could end up eliminating either Iran or Saudi if they’re not careful.

Why does iran not want to win?

Saudis wanted to lose and lose badly intentionally, that’s very clear. I don’t think that was Iran’s plan though. But now, with how it’s played out, Iran should just concede one more goal and force the Saudis to make a choice, score a goal and win the group or face early elimination because of your unsportsmanlike plans.

He said that the player had been put on the suspended list [ By AFC? By Iran? IDK] for having two yellow cards, which had surprised him when he saw that..because he had only counted the player as having one yellow card. So chances are it was an error. The player playing seemed perfectly allowed..
