Really excited about this move, we need more CMs in Europe and Omid is young with lots of room for growth.

After the somewhat disappointing original Iranian trio at Charleroi, Bayat took a long time to give Iranians another shot, but I must say, I think his scouting has served him well this time around. Kaveh has excelled, and he just signed two young and very promising players.

As much as I hate the Turkish league, thats a good move, as Kamyabinia isn't very young (29 years old) and Kayserispor is actually a decent team!

They have players like Asamoah Gyan for Ghana, Artem Kravets for Ukraine, Silvestre Varela (who actually scored for Portugal in the 2012 Euros and 2014 World Cup), and a bunch of other internationals from Ukraine, Turkey, and one Senegalese guy who's on the world cup roster!

I'm not a big fan of our bad players(both character and quality) going abroad as it paints a bad picture for the good ones in the future. Charleroi had past issues with Iranian players which led to a long hiatus before giving a second chance despite their Iranian ownership. Thankfully Kaveh was amazing enough to change their opinion enough to bring in Omid/Gholilzadeh(I think in time the Belgian league for us can be what the Eredivise is for Moroccans).


We can't have players going abroad to just flop or cancel their contracts. We need true professionals who will give it their all to succeed. We need more Jahanbakhshs and Rezaeis rather than Taremis.
