he is a very interesting player. He is very built for a winger, quite powerful. Can also play in midfield and played very well in u20 WC. Probably our u20 best player in that tournament along with shekari. He has an eye for goal as well. Kind of similar style to thomas mueller, decent dribbler as well.

I wonder what team it is. Besides rubin and akhmat no russian teams have shown interest in iranian players.

TEHRAN – Iran’s third captain Ehsan Haji Safi joined Tractor Sazi football team from Olympiacos on Sunday.

Haji Safi joined the reigning Greek champions on a 3.5-year deal from Panionios in January.

Tractor Sazi paid Haji Safi’s 500,000 euros release clause to sign the 28-year winger.

Haji Safi represented Iran in the 2018 World Cup, where Team Melli's defensive display was mightily impressive against Morocco, Spain and Portugal.

Haji Safi is Iran national football team’s third captain who joins Tractor Sazi.

Masoud Shojaei and Ashkan Dejagah have already signed a contract with the Tabriz-based football team.

Tractor Sazi sit sixth under guidance of Welshman John Toshack with nine points from six matches.
