Saudis and Qataris won't cooperate. They are sworn enemies now. Saudi actually wants to physically disconnect Qatar from the Arabian Peninsula and make them an island - lol.

South America, Conmebol federtion (all 10 teams) wants to ask officially for World Cup 2022 with 48 teams instead of 32 teams. They want their 6 teams in the world cup. I hope they will do this for 2022 in Qatar, and i also hope this will mean that we see Iran as Co host of some matches, or an Persian Gulf World Cup with the right term of course. Would be nice if this can happen and we could agree with neighbour countries but i know political problems are bigger than this wish right now.

All in all 46 teams in WC2022 would also benefit us. If we are clever we can build some football camps in Kish, Qeshm and other south iran places and host some nations. and also organize some friendlies and tournaments the years before and right before the world cup.

Also Qatar will play officially in Copa Sudamericano, the format will be 16 teams and 6 teams will be invited. Qatar is one of them, also Japan and China from Asia are rated for the other candidates. In my eyes IFF and CQ should push for a wild card for Copa Sudamericano. Probablywe can replace china or japan or be another team of the 6 teams and so we will have good preperation for the coming years and world cup. I really want to see Iran play in South America Copa.
