I said other because he has been great and we are not as good as Germany and Brasil so do not force ourselves to try to get better when we get worse. If that happens put a couple of friendly with like Japan and Australia and win then keep him if not get him away

Should we keep CQ if we end up with 0 or 1 point in next WC?

We were in a difficult group, not the group of death. Our group had 2 clear favorites.Originally posted by persiangodfather View Postsooo with 4 points and you a hairline away from 5 points in the group of death but there are some people who say change CQI went to Sharif University. It is funny to think that in fact if we get in a group with Portugal again in 4 years time, most likely we would be the favourite as many of their stars have retired by then and Portugal would be rather an ordinary team. That is even IF they actually qualify.Originally posted by KC McElroy View PostOur group had 2 clear favorites. A group of death does not have clear favorites.sigpic

If they were clear favorites then why did they both narrowly make it to the second round and drop points against Iran/Morocco?Originally posted by KC McElroy View PostOur group had 2 clear favorites. A group of death does not have clear favorites.Team Meli Iran

Because we played better than expected. On paper and prior to the actual games they were clear favorites for being the two teams advancing out of the group.Originally posted by Ghermez Agha View PostIf they were clear favorites then why did they both narrowly make it to the second round and drop points against Iran/Morocco?I went to Sharif University. Groups of death are labeled prior to games and as a prediction of how close the teams are, not afterwards. Afterwards a close group is simply labeled a hard group. On paper and prior to the World Cup our group wasn't close at all as it had two clear favorites.Originally posted by sedee91 View PostNot only that, we could have also won the group had Taremi scored at that last moment.I went to Sharif University. Doesn't that vary on personal point of view though? Its kinda like if I write the number "9" on a piece of paper, but if you're behind the paper, it says "6". Who labels this as a group of death or not? Is it you or the majority of the members of PFDC forum?Originally posted by KC McElroy View PostGroups of death are labeled prior to games and as a prediction of how close the teams are, not afterwards. Of course it does. It's not me of members of PFDC. You can refer to the many sites (particularly betting ones where people have to put their money where their mouth is) that predicted the outcome of our group prior to the games.Originally posted by sedee91 View PostDoesn't that vary on personal point of view though?
