    He won’t cut Amiri. Amiri starts all the games where we need to press because of his work rate and stamina. Don’t be surprised if he starts at least one game in the World Cup on the left side in front of Taremi. Maybe the Spain game. Heydari was the same last World Cup because he had decent speed and stamina.

    Soroush was not enough then and he is not enough now. I remember in the AC match agaisnt UAE, Nekounam was pushing Soroush forward to put pressure on the opposite defenders. We need guys, who can give 90min of Andranik type pressure on the feild. It is the only way to compete at the WC.

    Yes he is more of an attacking mid but CQ has used him once or twice in a more defensive role. I remember watching him in the AC and he was doing phenomenal work on defense. Not saying he’s the solution but I’d love to see him tested there in the upcoming games
