Alireza made his debut in net for GIF Sundsvall in their 2:0 friendly win vs. Finnish club, Vasa:

"Alireza Haghighi mostly had a quiet trip in Sundsvall's goal, but still had to make some sharp rescue in the debut against Vasa from Finland. - The first step was good for being a training match. But it's nice to know that there is still a good time left for the premiere. I will do my best at the training."

Agreed. Very stupid of him to not take the Real Madrid offer

    Done deal!

It says external sponsors made this deal happen for Gif Sundsvall. His contract is until the summer. An interview with him will come later today.

Hopefully all the haters who bash him because he takes pride in being handsome keep shush shush 🤫

The man is very talented goalkeeper who hasn’t had a good year and half. He’s also is a good looking human being who likes showing off his looks on social media. Who gives a damn. He’s still a solid GK and will get back in form.

I truly believe Alireza will work hard and push himself to at least get an invite. I’m not sure if he will start in the World Cup or not as many things are uncertain and too early to discuss. But nonetheless I wish him the best and this is a good move!
He is our resident TM model. Maybe he should spend his modeling time to get better at stopping some PKs. If he only had stopped one against Iraq in AFC 2015.

He had offers from Celta Vigo and other good teams after the World Cup. Rubin didn't sell him though.

I feel like Haghighi and Beiranvand and Queiroz are starting to have a argument because in the qualification they did not put Haghighi to try out at least for the last game

Very possible, I feel like CQ has a soft spot for him and for Abedzadeh. Let's see, if he plays well, NO DOUBT he's on the team!
