@kasrakhan Rennes were top-five team in France and are playing in Europa league this season. Huesca was playing in the segunda division last year and have the smallest budget and arguably weakest team in all of Spain. The chances of him getting picked up by a bigger club are a lot bigger in Rennes

europa league and doesn’t have to fight relegation battle meaning his team will have more attacking opportunities and possession since they’re better than the other teams in their league. With Huesca they’d struggle to maintain possession and finish attacks. Rennes just recently sold a player to Sevilla and have another player being watched by the likes of Everton and Dortmund. He’s gonna get as much exposure as he would at Huesca but he’s not in a minnow club. Much better situationOriginally posted by KasraKhan View PostWhy do you guys believe this is a better move than Huesca? Not being sarcastic, just want to hear your opinions.

they are just a way better team... 5th in france is no mean feat at all, they will be in europa league, they have a history of selling players to top clubs. Ousmane Dembele to Dortmund, Diakhaby and Bakayoko to Monaco, Doucore has been a revelation at Watford, Gnagon this year to Sevilla, and these are the just the very recent ones.Originally posted by KasraKhan View PostWhy do you guys believe this is a better move than Huesca? They have a market worth of 115 million EU, many times more than huesca,a 30,000 seater stadium (Huesca's was just 5k), and these are just some of the reasons.
They have quality young players in Bensebaini, Belin, Bourigeard, and of course Ismaila Sarr.
The only positive about Huesca move was that he would start and he would start and be in La Liga. But now he is on a team with all the qualities I jsut mentioned, AND guaranteed Europa League football. Its just a great move. If he shows himself well for 1-2 years he will quickly get snapped up by monaco, marseille, or Lyon, or go a top top team in La Liga or Bundesliga,

I would say Rennes are a simil level to Celta Vigo overall. Maybe a bit better. Except Celta Vigo are very stacked on offense. Gomez (young uruguyan forward), aspas who is regular in spain team, and both pione sisto from denmark and emre mor. But Celta finished 13th in la liga while Rennes were 5th in france. But besides Ismaila sarr, rennes dont have that many standout offensive players, so I think Ghoddos would fit in there very well. And Europa League competition as well just makes this a fantastic move.Originally posted by GolfePersique View PostThey accept 3.5 million offer from Rennes and Rejected 5million from Celta Vigo before the World Cup.
Still a good move for Saman and freedom from the stupid Kindberg dungeon.

the deal has a 20% sell on Clause so if they manage to sell him for 8 million in the future, Östersunds makes more profit than the 5 million. It’s a win-win for all parties involvedOriginally posted by GolfePersique View PostThey accept 3.5 million offer from Rennes and Rejected 5million from Celta Vigo before the World Cup.
