Still great since he is going to be playing in Serie A which is better than Ligue 1 teams. He is going to play under the name of City and if he plays well he can make the squad at City. He might even play for depth at City and not go on loan. They need depth for Cups,CL, and low leauge games.

What are you talking about? Despite what a lot of people seem to think City doesn’t buy super expensive players. Mahrez is the most they’ve ever spent on a player and he cost 67 mil, which isn’t high in today’s market. There’s literally not one player other than in the goalkeeper position that doesn’t get consistent game time.

Well, they haven't bought a super high profile attacker in a long time. Their cheapest player in their lineup is Ederson at a cost of 32.5 mil pounds, it was the record for a goalkeeper until Allison was bought by Liverpool this year.
Walker cost 50 mil, also a record last year for a defender that was before they signed Mendy for 52 mil, again breaking the record. In January Liverpool bought Van Djik, breaking that record again :P

So maybe not 50 mil per player, but still they have payed 472 million pounds for their starting 11 last! The most expensive line up in the Premier League :O
