Wow ok thank you. Thank god it just resulted in a draw and not a defeat. Esteghlal should crush them at Azadi in the second leg.
How did this Saudi'ing of the ref against Iran compare to other instances in the past?
Originally posted by yashar_fasihnia View Postesteghlal was playing al-ain away in UAE. took the lead twice, and the ref awarded 2 totally wrong penalties, which SS GK (hoseeini) saved the first one but not the second.
game ended 2-2 but should have been ended 2-1 for esteghlal

this personally has been the worst refereeing i have seen in my entire life for an Iranian team and i have been watching Iranian football since 90s. 2 totally wrong penalty calls with no contact at all.Originally posted by Persian-Pride87 View PostWow ok thank you. it was very similar to the korea-spain, chelsea-barca and madrid-bayern refereeing without any exaggeration
even the iraq-iran match in asian cup didnt have this many wrong calls

I wished CQ would've remained as calm in the Iraq game as Schäfer today. Schäfer is usually hot headed on the sideline.
I somehow believe that the players were in shock after that red card and that's why we became error prone and conceded the goal. If you remember, CQ had to be controlled by our own players.
But I cannot blame him.Last edited by 04041374; 03-06-2018, 11:07 AM.
