At least for me the only reasonable usage of Masoud in this Torunament is:

1) His Experience which helps him to guide the young players.

2) To be subbed in to keep the ball in the last minutes of an Game in which
we lead an want to hold result. (Specially in Knockout Games)

He's slow but his first touch and passing is better than Dejagah so he is suitable for an open game that doesn't require too much running in midfield. I am not sure how Iraq play though so let's see.

I agree with this completely, only potential change I was thinking of was putting Cheshmi next to Omid and resting Dejagah.
