WTF? Why is Sardar on that list? He doesn't even play for TM anymore. If Anybody needs military discipline, it's that kid.

They should do what the South Koreans do and give them a incentive for winning. For example Son has to do his military service but he would have gotten exemption if they went to the knockout stages or if they win the Asian games, otherwise he still has to do it.

They should tell these guys they will get exemption if they win the Asian Cup.

I agree with your principle.

The only issue is that SK and Japanese players have an easy route to Europe, unlike Iranians who have to rip our rear end to get one player transfered to a third or fourth tier European team, that if their passports don’t get confiscated or the domestic club doesn’t take a player hostage.

In this situation I wouldn’t disable half of our legionnaires for 2 years!
