Injuries are part of any athlete’s carrier
Other footballers have come back from much worse injuries to still be great
Can't recall any our footballers to bounce back from major injuries.IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

We can't risk a limited WC spot on an out of shape injury-prone player. Might as well just take 22 players to Russia at that point.Originally posted by naderb94 View PostHe will be back by May, but it looks like his Nottingham career is at least over before it even began.
We can still use him for the WC

His experience, leadership, and talent is irreplaceable. I would be totally happy with him coming off the bench or playing 60 minutes.Originally posted by The View PostWe can't risk a limited WC spot on an out of shape injury-prone player. Might as well just take 22 players to Russia at that point.
Since TM overall is young, we need experience to make everything gel together. Shojaei will def need to be called up soon

all you folks who kept bitching him out for getting a club or be kicked outa TM..... hala befarmayeed, enam bara shoma...!!
i fking knew this will happen....... especially signing with a struggling team in Eng. Championship ..!
well, at least it happened early(way too early as far as Forest folks are concerned
) lets hope he is back and in form for WC or we are really fked otherwise...!!
fair to assume, if lucky, WC will be the last of his footballing career..!!?
best wishes to him on a speedy recovery..!!

he going to a club is a good move, getting injured is a different story. i dont think it will be his last world cup, he can be in 2019, and if he is still fit,he can be in 2022.Originally posted by BacheLot View Postall you folks who kept bitching him out for getting a club or be kicked outa TM..... hala befarmayeed, enam bara shoma...!!

No it isn't. Ando and Masoud both have experience and talent. If we're looking for a mentor, we might as well take someone who has actually played full game of football in 2+ years and won't have to be carted off the field the moment someone looks at his general direction. Heck if we're looking for a mentor lets bring Javad Nekounam back, at least we know his knee won't shatter within 5 minutes of stepping onto the field.Originally posted by naderb94 View PostHis experience, leadership, and talent is irreplaceable. Current Ashkan an overrated player who had some decent seasons, and hasn't achieved anything significant in years. The guy is done. It's over, get it over it. He aint Ronaldo.
