hes injured. Although he made a good move to AEK not sure if he will make TM squad tbh. His style of play is really slow, and although that is okay in greek league, as soon as intensity, physicality, speed goes up, like in the big match they played in Europa League vs Dyanamo Kiev, masoud is marginalized and unable to affect the match at all. I would take Dejagah and Ghoddos at CAM, provided ashkan is fit. ARJ can also play there if need be, as can Karim.

Ghoddos has declined a little bit but generally he must be good. Dejagah has more chemistry with the other players but has not enough playing time and he is coming from injury. I feel Dejagah should be good for friendlies after a couple of weeks but being fit for WC is a big question. We are talking about highest level of game playing against world class teams like Spain and Portugal.

and do you honestly think that Mosalman or Rafiei are more capable? Ghoddos hasnt declined at all. If youve watched his matches in this (very early still) Swedish league he has been as threatening as usual. He just played arsenal a month ago and was MOTM two times, from a CAM position. Hope shojaei gets fit but it wont be a major issue for TM.

I wouldn't worry about it too much.. And honestly, its mostly the club struggling, not him. He's actually been pretty active in assists/goals each time his team scores.

He will be in a top 5 team by this summer anyways so its not big deal

It's bitter that both Shojaei and Dejagah are struggling with injury. We need at least one of them in form as we have no other quality players with similar skillet available.
