I really feel he will start Ghoddos behind Azmoun instead of Shojaei. Also I pray to god that Cheshmi does not start but its not looking good.

Strangely (at least to me) Queiroz has been very reluctant in using Ghoddos. He rather seems to prefer Amiri on the left wing and then there's also Ansarifard, who is always squeezed on somewhere by Queiroz...

Amiri and Taremi are used to each other. Saman was not so good in one to one situation when we played Tunisia. Maybe that is why. I assume Ansarifard comes late in the game instead of Shojaei or Hajsafi to score as a midfielder and a hidden forward. I bet that is how he scored in our last game.

After thinking about the friendlies and the used players I think CQ will go with this line-up for the Morocco game, if Taremi and Dejagah can't start from the beginning:

Agree this is most likely line up.

Personally I would swap in Montazeri and switch Cheshmi in for Ebrahimi in def mid.

Also Dejagah for Shojaei who I think is more suited to being used in the Spain game.

If we can get 60 mins out of Dejagah in the first game I think his strength on the ball will be important.

I’d definitely try and use Ghoddos’ pace against tiring legs in the last half hour for Dejagah and the other subs depending on the score.

As someone else mentioned if we need him Ansarifard as a false forward from mf seems to be a tactic if we need a goal (although for me he has to work harder with his forward running and late runs into the box.

Shojaei is a good option to slow the game down and link play if we need him (though he has to give it slightly quicker at WC level) but I’d couple his sub with Amiri coming on to do some hard running.

I like this. I prefer Ghoddos to Taremi for several reasons: European experience, ability to take long shots, and fitness. Taremi has better chemistry since he's been with the teammates longer, and is more of an unknown to opponents. But overall, I would pick Ghoddos over Taremi.

Dejagah is a bit iffy. I did not see enough of him post-comeback to know where his match fitness is at. If he starts, it is a poor reflection on everyone else that CQ prefers someone who has not played a competitive match for months.

The DM position is weak due to the absence of Ezzatollahi. I don't think CQ really likes Omid but has little choice at this point. Is there a possibility that CQ might use Cheshmi there? !!

From what i read in youtube comments, the moroccons think iran will be a walk in the park, they are not impressed at all and pretty much focus more on portugal and spain, i hope we give them a reality check, i really dont want to lose against them.
