Lol we are playing almost all the muslim mediterranean countries.

We just lack preparation for spain and Portugal. So far only turkey could be considered in this category.

I just dont get why we couldnt play uruguay as they have two middle east team in their group. Maybe they should help us to get past spain or Portugal to face us after the groups, it will be easier for us.

Mexico and bosnia are also good options (we played them several times before)

This is the best preparation I have ever seen from IFF... If everything goes through and isn't cancelled.. Wow.

We will have a great prep for Morocco, our first and most important game.

If everything else goes through, we can hope to get Turkey, Poland, Bosnia, and possibly Netherlands. Would be an excellent prep

We really could not have done better prep for that morocco game. Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, the only other team left would be egypt. Algeria with their A team is also acceptable preparation for dealing with star power we will face in portugal, spain matches. Brahimi, Mahrez, Feghouli, Slimani are top players. I really like the turkey match as well. We need to get bosnia and italy/holland/poland/uruguay, and then we can safely say that this was the best prep ever and IFF could not have done any better.

I don't think Tunesia is that strong, they were in relatively easy group during the qualification.

In Sliti, Khazri, and Msakni they have three dangerous attacking mids, albeit not on the same level of morocco. But they have a solid defense and are generally a solid unit. They beat algeria at the African Cup in 2017. Their results vs big african teams in the last year : 1-0 loss to morocco, 1-0 loss to cameroon, 1-0 win over egypt ( full strength team including salah). They are definitely not pushovers, and will be a good replication of morocco on the defensive end I think, as both teams are very solid defensively. Algeria's offense is more similar to morocco's in terms of star power and quality, if not greater. So between these two matches and the libya match ( which will be primarily for our reserves, or to really test new offensive tactics), I think we will be fully prepared for morocco.

you are right, but all of our players who play abroad will miss any game not on FIFA days. I haven't check the dates, but I would think most of our friendlies are on FIFA days.

The Saudi Soosmar’s preparation friendlies are simply the best I have ever seen
Look at all the teams they have played/ will play since they qualified for the WC
I know we think that we are so much better than them now but watch out for them in the Asian cup 2019
They will be a major threat to deal with and defenitly one of the favorites to win

These venemous snakes selected Iraq in Iraq, Snatched Italy from us and went after Belgium so we don't get them for friendly all of this to hurt our team's preparation and also to prove to the world they will travel to dangerous places for a Football match and will never come to Iran and Qatar. I won't be surprised that they monitor this forum and we already know they monitor Iran media very closely. Only Ukraine game is a friendly preparation for their match with Russia. Game with Germany is to test by how many goals they will get hammered they already know Uruguay is gonna destroy and humilate them. Argentina snubbed Saudi Arabia for friendly, I wont be surprised if they had approached Brazil and Colombia and got rejected

The 8-0ers playing these big name friendlies are a clever ploy to prepare themselves and their fans for 8-0er type scorelines at the WC.

Did I want Iran to play at least one big name European team? Sure. But the friendlies so far that have been confirmed are pretty good, probably the best or near best prep for the Morocco game (which realistically will determine if we have any chance of making the knock out stage).

I just hope nothing gets cancelled.

i do not think saudis will play Germany I checked different sources, and I did not hear about this either. no match against Germany is listed...

alll in all, I hope that our preparation will happen the way it was now discussed...probably Italy is ready to play Iran also after saudis?

which by the way makes a lot of sense as this will be our final but I do hope that next to Turkey we play 1 or 2 other really quality friendlies to prepare for Portugal and Spain.
