That's gay... always hated it when Iran played clubs. You can't even record goals for those games since it's not even a FIFA-recognized match. At least against other countries goals can be officially recorded for our players, even if it is a non-FIFA official day...Originally posted by the matrix1 View PostWe could also play latin american B team countries.. We could play Top Brazilian and Argentinan clubs for our match against Portugal. Those guys are for sure better than Qatar, Iraq, Lebanon, Uzbekistan...

Taj and kafashian are now in Qatar for signing a comprehensive agreement for cooperation with Qatar FA. This will include hosting NT camps in Qatar facilities including their ultramodern Aspire academy.
Also there will be a tournament with 4 teams involving Iran and Qatar in March, Although Iran and Qatar won't face each other apparently.
The other two teams will be Iran's choice. It is speculated that Poland and Uruguay will be invited.

I hope everyone takes back what they said about Qatar if this materialises, at least we have one (even if it's a "pretend" one) friend in middle east now with adequate resources.Originally posted by GolfePersique View Posthttp://90tv.ir/news/431008/تاج-و-کفا...طر-شدند

The only reason Qatar is now our friend is because they lost thier arab cousins of Saudi Arabia ,UAE and Bahrain, because they got into a fight with thier the arab MAFIA families.

Yes let’s milk them for all their connections, money, and facilities. This is the only way we can be adequately prepared for the upcoming World Cup.Originally posted by Gotham View PostI hope everyone takes back what they said about Qatar if this materialises, at least we have one (even if it's a "pretend" one) friend in middle east now with adequate resources.

Well, nothing comes cheap. With all their Arab former friends out, they will be needing Iran's help for the next WC I assume. So Iran has to deliver when the time comes.Originally posted by Gotham View PostI hope everyone takes back what they said about Qatar if this materialises, at least we have one (even if it's a "pretend" one) friend in middle east now with adequate resources.

Horrible friendly, we used to play stronger friendlies in our build up for 2014 WC (like Montonegro,Guiena) when we technically had an easier group and less stronger. Looking back I much rather do the 6-D simulation than this friendly :/ And also what similarity does Uzbekistan have to Portugal, Morocco, or Spain??? If we were to ever play a big team in our TM Life right about now would be an amazing time!Originally posted by allan123 View Posthttp://the-uff.com/news/sections/uff/10538

Still better than nothing though
Also, this translated piece from the article fucking killed me
I hope our "thermal Jalalabad Joint Coalition" can also get us points against Portugal, Spain, and Morocco this summerIn general, Iran's thermal Jalalabad Joint Coalition drove a 10-point lead at the 10th round, 4th in the row. Biror did not blame the president. Attackers at the 10th goal came in the 2-0 win over the opponent.

I will only take it back when they acknowledge the Persian Gulf in their 2022 WC.Originally posted by Gotham View PostI hope everyone takes back what they said about Qatar if this materialises, at least we have one (even if it's a "pretend" one) friend in middle east now with adequate resources.
But who knows, we may all be dead due to WWIII before then..

I assume you meant 2018. So were playing uzbekistan in April. Truly what is the point of that?? UNLESS it is a non FIFA day, in which case it is perfectly acceptable, considering we cant really get any european teams, south american, etc
EDIT : DONT FREAK OUT GUYS !
This is a non FIFA Day. Final official FIFA friendly dates are in March
