You can get hospitality tickets for $695 per match per person. So a little less than your quote. Still expensive but when I bought through hospitality it allowed me to organize my plans much earlier and get hotels and flights... as those have now gotten expensive. So i think it was a wash in the end even though the Match tickets were pricey. Difference is I had the piece of mind of the tickets and none of the viagogo or lottery stress

so for those large figures they dont give you box-seats with free buffet and drinks too..? if they threw free bottle service and a blow job i might have..!!

Since 5 December 2017, supporters have had a great opportunity to apply for tickets exclusively at FIFA.com/tickets, and anticipation for the 2018 FIFA World Cup™ in Russia this summer has been increasing steadily. Most of the applications have come from Russia (2,503,957 tickets requested), with Germany (338,414), Argentina (186,005), Mexico (154,611), Brazil (140,848), Poland (128,736), Spain (110,649), Peru (100,256), Colombia (87,786), USA (87,052) and the Netherlands (71,096) making up the top ten countries outside the host nation. Overall, international demand accounts for 49 per cent.


Does that mean that Russian only getting their pricing CAT4 ticket? or they do get CAT1/CAT2 and CAT3?

Then I am happy I didn't apply finally. Imagine an answer at mid-march, with all the hotel, flight getting booked or very expensive.

The last time I checked the FIFA tickets website, for iranian nationals : Morocco game was all in "High demand", Spain & Portugal games were all in "Medium Demand" except for one category (High demand).

sorta hoping most are Cat. 4 since its only available to them and really cheap..!! but guessing many getting other categories, in hopes somehow see them in the black markets at ridiculous mark-ups..?

Each game separately ....
I am sure most of us will get the portugal game as it had remained yellow for CAT2 all the way
The other games is a toss up ...
Also, I am hoping that a lot of these requests are for big shot games ... So that means iran games will likely have a lot better odds even if it was red

Hopefully by middle of March - that would be before March 13 when first/come first serve will take place.

cause the draw is in like 5-6 days, if you win they will email you, also mid march is the next round of draws,first come first serve
