When persep players ,Management, and govt disrespects PP as a club and its huge fans do you think AFC will give a shit??!!! If we dont respect our selves no one will more so than Arab Dominated Confed. We lost the game in Tehran, we did'nt lose the game to Al Kaftar!

We need a big game coach for Persepolis. The type of coach who knows how to win do or die games.
Is there any coach of such a caliber who's ready to work in Iran for 500k USD?? Denizli and Jose got much more, but couldn't get the wanted results.
We are in danger of being disqualified from next year's ACL due to debts, so where should we get this money from?

Some people moan about CQ being overpaid, but 1.5m EUR for him is really cheap. Al Hilal's coach gets 2m EUR .

The refs from south o Persian Gulf should not be allowed to handle critical games. AFC should have hired european uncorruptable non jew non muslim non arab for all arab games

          Agreed 100%.
Then we either need to give a chance to our own young coaches or adjust our expectations and not expect anything from these tournaments.

In all fairness Taremi's absence in both legs took a big toll on us. He would have been a good asset against Al Hilal. The man of both legs IMO was Vahid Amiri, he hustled and ran like a horse. Our defense was one of our biggest flaws, letting in 6 goals. We choked pretty much on all counters!

The whole system in Iran needs to be up-ended. PGL is "professional league" in name only. Dirty fingers in every pot. pay to play mentality. It is what killed US men team.
TM is fortunate it has a coach who truly cares about the players and fans and has something to prove.
This fucking regime needs cancer/wild fire anything that can spread quickly and kill it off.

Would you say SS's new coach is better than Branko or the same basically?

Mensha has been named as MOTM. 4 goals in 4 ACL games is quite impressive.

in my eyes Amiri did nothing, far from being best pp player...

This is ENTIRELY on Branko, he coached like a second division Azadegan league against Hilal. When a guy score 5 goals against your team and you can't even find a way to neutralize him the coach need to be sacked!!!

It was a set up guys:

all the referees saw it was outside, but ganged up to stop Persepolis from playing their game : Persepolis should complain about this.

                            ^ to FIFA.

Because the AFC did not let us change the venue or the referees even after Persepolis send them letters after letters. Just imagine if this would happen to Japan. But I agree this needs a competent government that we don't have.

Just so everybody understands, Amiri covers more ground than any Iranian player and is not as bad technically as some of you make him out to be. He will clearly be in the World Cup squad, and I could also see him starting two of our group stage matches as well. I don't care how talented Torabi, Ghoddos, Taremi etc are, we first and foremost need to be sound defensively, especially against world class teams. Amiri will support our team defensively in a way that our other players can't, due to his astute positioning and exceptional work ethic. As long as he's not injured, we need him.
