Just be thankful we get confirmed friendlies and they don't get canceled. Way too much energy being wasted on what if and i wish. This is the IFF were dealing with, almost all of our previous friendlies have been the result of "CQ" connections not IFF competence. We played South African clubs as prep last WC :-|

Yes that was the last WC! For his WC, and now that the sanctions have been lifted and after all the hustle CQ has had with IFF and the government, things were gonna get fixed!!!! CQ hasn't been complaining for a long time so it means either he's given up or things should be according to the plans!

Now why the h*ll are we still getting the same problems with friendlies as every damn time?!!! I'm so pissed!

we pick a great friendly, because we might meet mexico or panama that is 50%, if we play friendly with panama and win and we get them in group it will be benefical for us and if we meet mexico is also a good preparation

venezuela are better than panama, thats not a question. But given that Panama are in the WC, and Venezuela arent, we will now be getting an extremely motivated opponent, who plays a similar style to ecuador,mexico albeit with less quality. IF the serbia friendly goes through then we should all be content with the two games overall, and Im sure CQ and staff will be as well

Panama results against USA, Mexico wasn't very good during the qualifiers..

Guys, Venezuela is not Venezuela. They will send a B or A2 Team, and Venezuela and Bolivia are the worst teams still in Conmebol. There is no big difference between Panama and Venezuela A2/B Team and the fact Panama players will be motivated and fight for starter line-up and play motivated football is better for us.

In my eyes we should only play WC-Teams or really good teams which did not qualify, and not the worst of a confederation.


Panama is good for us because:

- we probably get Mexico or Costa Rica in our group.
- we have 25% chance of getting Panama in our group.
- another big chance is that Honduras will qualify for World Cup and also possible 25% in our group.

Panama will be a good "warm-up match" and learning match and simulation of Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama itself or Honduras, and if all 4 teams will be in the World Cup, there is a chance that we get one of them.

Now we need another good Friendly for 14 November, in Europe, or even at home, everything is good, if it is a good football nation.

Probably we can have two more good matches which bring us forward. and in our camps till march we will hopefully also face some stronger nations. let us see which teams we will get in our group and also see which teams Saudi Arabia will get in their group. probably also Egypt group can be important, because nations which will be grouped with Saudi Arabia and Egypt might play us before the World Cup.

Not only changing Venezuela to Panama in 10th of November means facing a weaker opponent, it also means the Serbia game is off because they will play against South Korea in 14th.

i am sure, we have another team for replacement for Serbia. Before we wanted to play Serbia in Europe and Venezuela B in Iran. Now we play Panama A and another team for sure. Serbia Friendly can be bad for us, because 25% chance facing them. and if we stay "unknown" for them it is better for us. In case of Panama, we are the stronger team, and can be self-confidence to beat them in World Cup again.

Yes but the only scenario which will make this change alright is if we play against a European quality team. I don't think teams like Austria are in the level of Serbia. but I'm afraid we'll be going back to play against the likes of Albania, Montenegro or Azerbaijan.

Of course at this point and in comparison to previous times, any friendly would be an upgrade for us. But definitely a downgrade from Venezuela-Serbia combination.
