No, I have him as my avatar because he was suppose to replace my favorite player - Javad Nekonaum - but he still can as he is extremely young and I think the setback earlier this year and late last year showed him he has to work hard to maintain his place. He is so crucial for us as great central/defensive midfielders are hard to develop.

p.s. Kaveh Rezaei is my favourite player.

he completed 80% of his passes, won 6/6 aerial battles, and 6/6 tackles. Only dispossessed twice and scored the winning goal. Bravo Saeid ! I think his immediate ceiling is at a better Russian team like Krasnodar , Lokomotiv, possibly CSKA if he continues to perform for the entire season

He’s doing very well and if he keeps it up he will 100% make the final roster.

I know that it’s highly unlikely for a player like Ezatolahi to miss the World Cup. He’s helped us in qualifying from day 1 vs Turkmenistan. But it’s good to instill the notion that no player is safe so they fight even harder. Which I’m sure CQ has done since he’s been here.

The increase in competition within the team is a big reason why were #1 in Asia at the moment. I hope the trend continues.

For a guy who left the country at a very young age, his level of English is actually terrible. I mean in these range of ages, it should be very fast learning process for them. Regarding both Russian and English, not only he and Sardar didn't learn Russian but after 4-5 years being outside the country they speak very basic English.
I have seen lots of Russians, Czechs(without naming Swedish, German's, etc) kids who were drafted by NHL teams and moved to North America at the age of 18-19 and after only few months they can make some half decent interviews. It sure is the mentality among our players, their day and night activities beside training is with Iranians.

Regarding both Russian and English, not only he and Sardar didn't learn Russian but after 4-5 years being outside the country they speak very basic English.

Indeed, It is embarrasing that after almost 5 years he needs a translator. Bynow he should be fluent in Russian, but I guess he gets away with Turkmen languague,enoughto communicate with papa berdy.
