Can you please elaborate on what this vote was about, what happened etc.
Would like to tweet about this.

Basically, the AFC match committee had a vote a few days ago and there they agreed that Saudi, UAE, Qatar and Iran have to play home and away matches in those countries as opposed to "neutral" sites.
The Kuwaiti, Syrian and North Korean members weren't in the meeting, and the Iraqi rep left the room as soon as the vote was going to start.

Not trying to defend this cleric or make this a political matter..

But for a country who beheads a person just because they voice their opinion and expects a regime like i.r. to do nothing is stupid. It’s like if you go up to a dog and while they are eating steal their food. They’re going to be aggressive and bite back.

So they attacked their embassy. It’s not like they like us anyways. So like a bunch of cowards they clear out of Iran.

Never do I remember Iran (despite under islamic republic) harm any foreign athlete. The only harm I remember them doing is for example an FC not paying their athletes. I don’t remember a Saudi player leaving Iran beat up or worse, beheaded?

So whatever ruling we have coming our way in our favor we deserve.

Everyone seems so focused on our corrupt government that they forget despite the fact that their rich, the Saudis are worse than our regime in sooo many ways. And then they act like their innocent and holy.

Isna is reporting that the AFC board of executives have approved the vote taken 2 days ago by the members of the assembly and from now on all Saudi teams must come to Iran to play,no more playing in a neutral venue.

Kuwait hosts the Persian gulf right now. saudis are playing there, so their al Hilal players are playing in this facilities right now. they have this advantage.

Just choose Uzbekistan as hosting country. Maybe even a City who is participating in the ACL.

The problem are also the Iranian teams itself. We saw how the sponsor of Perspolis sold tickets to KSA Fans to make more $$$.

If all fails - Just send the U-21 Team.
I know that IR has established this running-away from opponents in our system (for example Israel).
Maybe it´s time not always ask like a scared little girl for boycott, runaway or refusal.

The teams even did not tried Uzbekistan, after TKM was rejected.
TKM has no ACL-Team - Uzbekistan has.
