I figured it out. Transfermarkt counts own goals and created penalties as assists. Thats not correct. Don't know why they do that when no one else does.

No it shouldn't. In basketball if a player gets fouled does his free throws give assists to players? No. This isn't done in any other sport either. Own goals are even worse. Transfermarkt is bad.

By the way his contract is running until 2020 so Alkmaar is definately going to put a heavy price tag on him. Dont think they will let him go for less than 20 milion € if he continues like this.

In todays transfer market you shouldn't even be amazed if it would be 25+ if he keeps this up.

Its a bug in our system, for some players it is an assist and for some it isn't. A few months ago this was solved but now it somehow came back. But yeah we all at transfermarkt suck so maybe thats the reason.

Goals and assists are great but the real question is, did he learn and improve from last time out or did he continue to bring shame onto him and his family with disgusting acts that have no place on a football pitch like a stepover or something?

Have you guys noticed this Twente player had an altercation with JB today. This Chilean macho man got second yellow card and sent off for his behavior. JB should watch out for this trouble makers specially in our match vs Morocco and Portugal in WC. The good thing is the Moroccan player of Twente came and apologized from JB.
