AZ just arent that good of a team, if roda werent so shit themselves they would have won. ARJ had some good chances but wasnt his best game, but I think the commentators gave him motm in the end ?

ARJ performs great when the stakes are not high. You can see how he over does it in the end of the match today. Same thing happens with TM only difference is with TM the stakes are high for the start of the match.

The coach was mad at him for doing this, saying this makes the opponents even more motivated to score on us. Also saying this is nice in practice but not in a match, this shows you're taking things to easy and is a misplaced arrogance. Apparently he also said that in person to JB.

I hope the coach realizes that his defensive scheme has been failing for the past 3 years. AZ always look as if they are going to get scored on. Would rather he focus on that then one of his best players having a bit of fun on the pitch

I don't understand this mentality from a lot of European coaches. He is a player who is having fun, that is why people play football and usually top players are at the peak of their form when they are enjoying. What is wrong with showing some tricks in the game?
