Alireza's value this world cup depends solely on Masoud and Ramin. If they can pass the ball to him when he's open or has a one-on-one, JB can shine like he does with AZ, but if Masoud just keeps hugging the ball and Ramin just boots it from our 3rd, then Alireza's only chnace to shine will rely on lucky bonuces.

His potential for transferring to a top tier team rather than mid-low table EPL, La Liga team will depend on him grabbing a goal/assist against one of our next opponents or Iran's R16 progression in general, which would turn a lot of heads.

After the spectacular season he had he deserves much better than those teams.. Just watch Weghorst go to Chelsea or some shit while Jahanbakhsh will be fighting to avoid relegation..

The thing about Baksh is that his role is to play a lot of defensive in these team Melli matches so he doesn’t get to go one on one verses players. He only got that chance 1-2 times vs Morocco. If he can get isolated he can go past a player but bc of his defensive work rate it’s hard to isolate him

He had this one excellent sequence vs. Turkey where he took down the ball, ran across the penalty box and unleashed a shot that was nicely saved by the goalkeeper. If he can repeat this sequence, this time converting a goal, it will turn heads. He needs to display that he can dribble, get past his man and shoot on the run. Managers love that in a winger.

Most Eredevise players that go to big teams don't usually fit in immediately. The last one I can think of is Suarez. Players like Milik, Depay, and so on did not have a huge impact and others like Vertongen, Blind, and even Sanchez needed time to adjust. Bas Dost had one huge season in Germany and that was because of De Bruyne. If Jahanbakhsh goes to a midtable team in one of the top4 leagues that will be good, he'll have time to adapt and improve without his playtime getting interrupted.

According to this rumor from someone who seems fairly reputable on twitter named TransferGeek, Jahanbakhsh is Liverpools second choice if they cannot sign Fekir. Would be a good team to join, as he would be a rotational attacker with Salah, Mane, and Firmino who are all frequently injured.

The English scumbags are so ignorant. One calling him a garbage from Iran, others saying who the f*** he is?!! or mocking his name.

I really hope he goes to La Liga. We need someone to continue the legacy of Neko and Masoud.

I would ignore what fans especially english ones have to say ...

I tend to agree that la liga would be a better fit ... less physical more technical (which suits our players and ultimately the style of play which I think we all like to see).

Hopefully, he puts in a decent performance and catches the eye this evening.

Fekir likely won't be going to Liverpool as during his medical they found an issue involving a persistent knee? problem or some body part and they wanted to reduce the agreed upon transfer price and Lyon refused to. The club actually released a statement saying he is staying. So Liverpool could be monitoring Ali at the WC to make a final decision, he would be cheap depth for the club, as he would be less than half of what Fekir cost

You can add Sardar to that list. When he ha the ball, he needs to look for AJ on the right but Sardars passing is the worst! amongst all our forwards. If only we had Kaveh playing upfront.

I also noticed Sardars passing. He has no overview over where ethe players are at. So when he gets the ball he has just a narrow sight on like two players close to him.. saeid should show him to have his head up BEFORE he gets the ball already..

I have a feeling he will sign in the next week to a team we did not see coming. He has a great agent and AZ is respectful of his decision to leave
