I don't think that's what happened ...

He was hit squarely in the face off the post. If you look at his reaction after the shot deflected off the post, he doesn't even know where the ball is and he looks completely out of it, even after he got up he seemed really confused.

Daei has to be one of the worst coaches in the league. He might have a good eye for talent and developing players, but his tactics and style of coaching is high school level. No passing plan, no cohesion.

He was hurt, the ball hit his nose hard. You could see it in his eyes when he stood up.
His clean sheet record was close to 800 minutes, these few minutes extra would probably not have mattered much anyway. I mean even now it's already the 75th minute and we haven't conceded yet.
