I wouldn't be surprised if he was excluded tbh. Last year, they did the same thing to Reza when he was 3rd top scorer and in multiple Team of the Season Squads from various news journals as well as Ultimate Team tots predictions, but he missed out. And just look at how many IFs Jahanbakhsh has been robbed of this season alone

Not a great performance by Rezaei who was just subbed out. He looked a bit ouf of gas and to be honest he was facing Luyindama, who physically, on headers and one on one is the best defender in the league.

Well I'm going to say something here which will not make people happy but don't let stats fool you in the Belgian league. If you look at most of the top scorers from the past years, many of them disappeared during their second year. It's been discussed many times in football shows here, one of the main reason is that most of the players brought in this league are unknown and defending them is more difficult but usually after their first season or even after the winter break. These guys don't shine anymore. Just look at Teodorczyk from anderlecht last season and look at him now.

The team just isn’t doing as well overall.

I think they lacked the depth to play that style for the whole season.

It’s really energy intensive.

Hopefully Kaveh can have some recovery before the WC

It's not bad at all. What I'm just saying is that based on what I know since I follow the Belgian league closely is that many players have a good first season and then they either sign for a better and don't perform anymore or they just don't perform as well.

If you look at the past top scorers table you'll notice that except those who were really young when they performed, all of them are nowhere now.

All in all what I mean is that Kaveh is doing really good but when you see him with TM he doesn't look as good and people should not get over excited about his stats here, considering that the pro league is really weak.

I think youre right, but if we analyze Kaveh more, we can see he has never been a killer or PK box player. His ability to link up ( great passing as shown by his assists and combo play this year - we have seen good examples of this in TM already), his workhorse style pressing, as well as being a decent goal scorer means he has more to his game than many who have gone on to fail after initially succeeding in belgium. I dont think he can maintain such a high goal scoring ratio, but he will still be successful because of his other attributes.

However, Kaveh may grow as a player and become a more prolific scorer. Time will tell

FDA of Belgium isn’t no Eredivisie, they actually know how to defend.
